The eventful circular trail begins at parking space 4 at the Krimml waterworld. First you will head out on a beautiful forest path and then arrive at some old tollhouses, the birthplace of the Salzburg freedom fighter Anton Wallner, and an old farm house built in 1577. You will then reach the panoramic Hotel Burgeck (1.167m), where you can have a break on the beautiful terrace with a magnificent view of the Krimml waterfalls. The trail continues to the repatriates cross, which was erected in 1964, and onwards to direction Falkenstein. Here you then run through the forest and come via the district of Schlossberg to the Krimml train station. For a short while along the street you heading over the Bräuerbrücke bridge to the idyllic Achenwald path and back to the starting point.
