Regionality

Regionality is a top priority in Zell-Gerlos in the heart of the Zillertal and is an important part of the sustainable development of the region. Events with regional products

For the majority of events in the Zell-Gerlos region, regional products from regional suppliers are used wherever possible. The farmers' markets in Zell am Ziller and Gerlos reflect the conscious approach to regionality.

Farmer's Market in Zell am Ziller

Regional quality products such as fresh bread, cheese, eggs, bacon, schnapps and homemade souvenirs are also on offer at the farmers' market in Zell am Ziller. The farmers' market takes place from mid-June to the end of September every Wednesday from 15:00 to 18:00 at the Zell am Ziller pavilion.

Farmer's Market in Gerlos

Every Thursday from mid-June to the end of September, the Zillertal farmers' market takes place at the Gerlos music pavilion. Fresh bread, cheese, eggs, bacon, honey, schnapps and many other regional quality products from farmers are on offer. Furthermore, various Zillertal delicacies can be sampled at a tasting stand.
