From the starting point at the Ziller bridge, near the Huber car showroom, follow the signs to the fork in the path (numbers 4 and 5). The exciting path leads past the Chapel of Saint Joseph, along the crossroad until you reach the restaurant Schulhaus. Along the trail you can explore the different bird calls, find out interesting facts about forest utilisation and catch a glimpse of the great view above the treetops. The trail continues to the Herz-Jesu-Kapelle (Church of the Sacred Heart) onto trail no. 4 following the road for a short while heading into the valley. Passing through a dense forest, you will head back via the “Eugenpromenade” to the Chapel of Saint Joseph and back to the starting point. Discover the alpine flora and fauna and consciously observe nature on
the Holzweg.

On the Holzweg trail you can experience all facets of the forest. It awakes your senses and your curiosity with interactive knowledge stations. This theme trail aims at strengtheing the people's awareness for the habitat at one's own doorstep.
