What could be better than exploring the unique and magnificent mountains of Zillertal and Pinzgau on foot? Pack a hearty snack in your rucksack and put on your hiking boots: there are 400 km of hiking trails to explore. The Arena’s mountain summer offers, for example, the 5 side valleys of Gerlos – leisurely alpine hikes included and suitable for children of all ages. In Zell am Ziller, hikes around the Kreuzjoch area and in the Gerlosstein area on the Hainzenberg are particularly attractive.

Arena Panorama Tour

Magnificent panoramic hike with spectacular views of Zillertal and the Tux Alps. Starting point Rosenalmbahn Zell or Isskogelbahn Gerlos top station.

Gerlossteinwand mountain tour

Panoramic mountain tour on the magnificent Gerlossteinwand (2,166 m). Trip up by Gerlossteinbahn cable car.

Schmankerlweg Kreuzwiese

Easy tour from the Rosenalm on the Schmankerlweg. Trip up by gondola from Zell. A romantic forest hiking trail ideal for families with children and for nature lovers.
