Wald-Königsleiten

Nestled between the Pinzgauer Grasberge hills in the north and the mountains of the Hohe Tauern in the south, Wald and Königsleiten are the ideal starting points for leisurely walks, adventurous mountain hikes and treks from hut to hut. Sagenerlebnis Gipfelwelt at Kröndlwurmsee lake beside Dorfbahn Königsleiten top station promises an exciting day for the whole family. The highlight is the GipfelLiner, which spirits you over the reservoir at an altitude of 2,300 m.

Jodelwanderweg Königsleiten

Simple, traditional yodels are waiting for you to sing along to at the various interactive stations. An audio station plays first the whole yodel and then the 1st and the 2nd voices on their own. Each of you should try your part alone first before practising the yodel together.

Everyone can experience the Jodelwanderweg – the trail begins at Dorfbahn Königsleiten top station. The first stop is right beside the Gipfeltreffen restaurant. Of course, you can also walk the Jodelwanderweg in the opposite direction. The Jodelwanderweg trail is open in summer and access is free of charge. Access to the trail depends on the operating hours of the cable car (tel. 06564 8212). The path is suitable for prams.

GipfelLiner Königsleiten

GipfelLiner Königsleiten is a kind of flying fox / zipline. The absolute highlight: the GipfelLiner runs over the Königsleiten reservoir at 2,300 m above sea level.

Elektro-TRIAL-Park Königsleiten

In unique surroundings (with amazing views) at an altitude of 1,600 m, motorcycle enthusiasts will find two different electric trial courses of different lengths and difficulty levels.

Mega Flying Fox Unterwurzacher

Being active on holiday and having a whole lot of fun: that’s what the Mega Flying Fox in Salzburg is all about – at Dürnbachschlucht gorge in Neukirchen. Relative height 160 m – length 220 m – fun for the whole family!

Durlassboden reservoir

The clear, fresh water of Durlassboden reservoir warms up to a pleasant 21 degrees in the summer months (from late June to late August), making Gerlos a true summer highlight.

Climbing & high ropes course

Durlassboden reservoir & Pinzgau

Soothing peace and tranquillity combined with the fantastic mountain landscape is what makes fishing such a special experience. Fly fishing, belly boating, fishing in mountain streams or stillwater fishing – the area is large enough to have everything every amateur fisher(wo)man is looking for. Fishing permits for Durlassboden reservoir can be purchased at “Seestüberl”.
