Getting here by train
Excellent rail links from all European cities ensure a quick and easy journey to train station Zell am See or Kitzbühel. From there, you can then take the Zillertalbahn train to Zell am Ziller or the Pinzgau Lokalbahn train (currently from Niedernsill to Krimml rail replacement service) to Krimml and continue by bus to your destination.

Enjoy low-cost travel to Zillertal with the saver fare or BahnCard railcard. Rail tickets can be booked up to 6 months in advance. - SAVE MORE:
Groups of six or more can travel to Zillertal at even lower prices. The Europe group saver fare for Austria can be booked up to 12 months in advance at travel centres or by telephone. Online up to 6 months in advance. - EVERYTHING A FAMILY NEEDS:
A train journey means adventure, fun and a lot of freedom. In the toddler compartment, in the family areas on the ICE train and with the children’s menu in the on-board restaurant or bistro, there is no room for boredom. Many ICE trains have on-board childminders at the weekend. - GETTING AROUND:
Pinzgauer Lokalbahn railway, taxis and buses: getting around Pinzgau is simple and easy.

Getting here by car
Coming from the north: Inntal Autobahn A12 (toll sticker required), Zillertal exit, B 169, Inntal Autobahn (A12) to Felbertauern exit (toll sticker required) - follow signs for Kitzbühel - Pass Thurn - Mittersill - Krimml/Hochkrimml or Inntal Autobahn to Zillertal exit - follow signs for Zell am Ziller - Gerlospass - Krimml/Hochkrimml (toll sticker required).
Coming from the east: A10 Tauern Autobahn to Werfen, B 311 to Schwarzach, Zell am See, then take the B 168 to Mittersill and continue on the B 165 Tauern Autobahn (A10) Vienna - Salzburg - Bischofshofen - Zell am See - Krimml/Hochkrimml (toll sticker required).

WINTER toll information:
Gerlos Alpenstraße: All holidaymakers from Wald/Königsleiten, Krimml will receive a free 8-day ticket for the toll road if they show their guest card at the toll station. Day visitors pay the car toll (€12.00) and can get it refunded if they provide the receipt when buying their lift ticket. All skiers who already have a ski pass (chip card) from the Zillertal Arena can use the automatic lane at the toll point free of charge. On the way to your destination at the start of your holiday, show your accommodation booking confirmation to pass the toll point free of charge. When the ski season ends, tolls come back into force for Gerlos Alpenstraße and must be paid by all vehicles.
Getting here by air
Innsbruck (50 km), Munich (170 km) and Salzburg (150 km) airports are not far from Zillertal and Pinzgau and are directly connected to destinations throughout Europe by daily scheduled flights.
