Krimml in summer
The holiday region of Krimml-Hochkrimml is a gateway to the Zillertal Arena from the Pinzgau side. The defining feature of this idyllic village is the Krimml Waterfalls, the largest waterfalls in Europe. For over 200 years, the spray has also been known for its natural healing effect for asthmatics and allergy sufferers. There is a whole lot to discover at Wasserwelten Krimml. But the waterfalls are far from all that Krimml has to offer. An extensive network of hiking trails at all altitudes has something for all levels, and there’s a real treat for cyclists and mountain bikers: Krimml lies on the Tauern Cycle Trail, which runs for a total of 310 kilometres to Passau in Bavaria, and the village is also the starting point of the Hohe Tauern Panorama Trail.
