Description

The Tauernradweg (“Tauern Bike Path”) begins close to the world-famous Krimml Waterfalls.

The start of the popular Tauernradweg is located at the foot of Europe’s biggest waterfalls. From there, you will cycle along the pleasant Achenwaldweg, with gentle up- and downhill sections parallel to the Krimmler Ache, as far as Krimml train station. The route continues all the way to Passau, via Mittersill, Zell am See (here, there are two variants to choose from, either along the Salzach or Saalach rivers) to Salzburg, and from there to Passau.
