FIS CODE OF CONDUCT
- Respect for Other Skiers and Snowboarders
Every skier and snowboarder must behave in a way that does not endanger or harm others. - Control of Speed and Skiing/Riding Style
Every skier and snowboarder must ski or ride within their line of sight. They must adjust their speed and style according to their abilities, as well as the terrain, snow, and weather conditions, along with the density of traffic on the slopes. - Choice of Route
Skiers and snowboarders coming from behind must choose their path so that they do not endanger those ahead of them. - Overtaking
Overtaking is allowed from above or below, from the right or left, but always with enough distance to allow the skier or snowboarder being overtaken ample space for their movements. - Entering, Starting, and Moving Upward
Any skier or snowboarder entering a slope, starting after a stop, or moving uphill must look up and down the slope to ensure they can do so without risk to themselves or others. - Stopping
Skiers and snowboarders should avoid stopping in narrow or concealed areas on the slope without necessity. If a skier or snowboarder falls, they must clear this area as quickly as possible. - Climbing and Descending on Foot
Skiers or snowboarders ascending or descending on foot must stay at the edge of the slope. - Respect for Signs
Every skier and snowboarder must obey all markings and signals on the slopes. - Assistance
In case of an accident, every skier and snowboarder is obligated to assist. - Identification Requirement
In the event of an accident, every skier and snowboarder, whether a witness, involved party, responsible or not, must provide their personal details.
Drone Flight Prohibition Throughout the Entire Ski Area
In Austria, flying drones over crowds and built-up areas is generally not permitted. This regulation also applies to ski slopes and the entire Zillertal Arena ski area, making drone flights legally prohibited here. For safety and privacy reasons, aerial photo or video recordings are also not allowed to ensure the privacy of our guests and maintain safety within the ski area.
If you have specific filming requests, would like to register a photo shoot, or are interested in obtaining visual materials, our team is happy to assist. Please contact our press team directly at marketing@zillertalarena.com. We are here to help facilitate your project within the legal framework.
