At the Sonnenhof (“sun court”) in the heart of Gerlos in Zillertal, our name is our philosophy.

The hotel Sonnenhof is situated between the Kitzbühel and Zillertal Alps in the middle of the Zillertal Arena. We offer the perfect place for you to spend the most beautiful days of the year. Our 3 star hotel Sonnenhof with its cafe restaurant is situated in the center of Gerlos. Cozy, friendly and comfortable – this is our hotel! You are sure to feel at home with us.

To start off your day we offer a large and varied breakfast buffet. In the evening we will spoil you with our international and Tyrolean specialties. These are served as a 3 to 4-course menu with a varied salad bar.

With 52 modern lifts and 143 km of slopes there is a perfect descent for everyone, and you need not do too much to get there. The ski bus stop is directly opposite our hotel, and in 3 minutes you can easily reach the Dorfbahn Valley Station. After a great day of skiing you can continue your holiday at the famous après ski in Gerlos.

Are you looking for an active or relaxing holiday this summer? In Gerlos you cannot go wrong. In the Zillertal Alps, hikers will find a variety of walks between huts and pastures.
Children will not feel bored staying with us, as they can walk balancing over streams, slide across snow fields, climb glaciers, look into high mountain huts, and encounter cows, sheep or Haflinger ponies. It is a paradise for children of all ages.
