The family ski area on the Gerlosstein is an important part of the Zillertal Arena and is perfectly suited for families and beginners; it's skiing fun away from the hustle and bustle of other ski slopes. There is also the children's paradise “Arena Kid's Club" in Gerlos, where children 1 year and older will be professionally looked after. In the summer, Gerlos and the entire Zillertal valley offer numerous possibilities for an active vacation in magnificent nature. The Gerlos hiking region and its 5 side valleys provide a variety of hikes from easy to alpine. You can also explore and discover the beautiful nature by mountain bike or through other sporty activities such as rafting & canyoning, tennis & squash, surfing & sailing, paragliding, mountain climbing, or Nordic walking.
